Karol Nawrocki a participant in a football hooligan fight? Shocking reportsThe Tri-City "Gazeta Wyborcza", or more precisely journalists Paweł Wojciechowski and Piotr Żytnicki, described the background of the event from 2009. At that time, there was a fight between the so-called militants of two football clubs. On one side Lechia Gdańsk, on the other Lech Poznań. The latter, looking at the group of pseudo-fans (the aforementioned "militants"), were considered invincible in the country at that time. However, the victory was won by the Gdańsk team, which was widely echoed in fan circles.
A bare-knuckle brawl, a regular brawl , in which 70 participants from each side were supposed to take part. Among those from Gdańsk was Karol Nawrocki, which shocked public opinion in recent days. Currently a candidate for the President of the Republic of Poland supported by Law and Justice.
The topic of the hooligan brawl was raised, among others, during Thursday's (i.e. May 22) meeting between Nawrocki and Sławomir Mentzen, on the latter's YouTube channel. The former candidate for the President of the Republic of Poland from the Confederation side suggested in the program "Mentzen grills" that he had knowledge of the aforementioned brawl between the Gdańsk and Poznań sides. And that Nawrocki was supposed to have taken part in it.
The aforementioned Gazeta Wyborcza journalists reached several informants who additionally shed light on what this type of fixed fights look like.
"Nawrocki had a predisposition for this – he knew how to fight. While still a boxer, he became the Polish champion in the 91 kg weight category. In the Lechia Gdańsk militia, he fought shoulder to shoulder with criminals [...] Nawrocki's participation in brawls was no secret among Gdańsk hooligans. Our interlocutors claim that Nawrocki participated in fights outside the stadium many times – not only the one in October 2009," we read in the text of the Tri-City "Gazeta Wyborcza".
On Friday evening (May 23), Rafał Trzaskowski and Karol Nawrocki met during the pre-election debate, for the first time after the first round of the presidential elections.
